and Make a Difference.

KENDAL TOWN FC HAVE JOINED FORCES WITH THE “BOOTS FOR AFRICA” APPEAL. ALL PEOPLE HAVE TO DO IS BRING YOUR OLD BOOTS TO ANY HOME GAME AND WE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST.

Donate your old football boots to Boots for Africa! Help us collect and deliver thousands of cleaned up, tied up and paired up pairs of used football boots to the children of Africa, in association with founding partner McDonald's and Sheffield F.C, officially recognised as the world's first football club.

Football helps to build communities, develop social understanding and improve the lives of millions of people around the planet - something we should all share. The 'Boots for Africa' Appeal will help to develop the skills and fitness of aspiring disadvantaged children, and provide more children with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful game.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Town sign defender Dan Wordsworth on 1 month loan

18-year-old central defender Dan Wordsworth has joined Kendal Town on a one month loan deal this afternoon as he looks to get some first team football under his belt. Wordsworth, a product of the successful United Youth programme, signed a one-year professional deal in the summer, but is yet to feature for the Carlisle first team. John Ward said: "Lee Ashcroft phoned this morning to enquire about a centre half. Dan obviously falls in to that category, and he is a young man who wants to be playing football." "He is a very young professional, just a month out of the Youth team in terms of age, and this will be a good experience for him. Hopefully it will prove to be beneficial both for him and for Lee Ashcroft."
